Artemisia annua

Artemisia - Until recently, Artemisia annua has been grown primarily for its aromatic foliage and its use in dried arrangements, wreaths and potpourri. Commonly called "Sweet Annie." Bend the green stems with yellow flowers into wreath forms and dry for further decoration. Artemisia annua reseeds freely and tolerates even poor growing conditions. Currently, Artemisia annua is under investigation for its potential use in the treatment of malaria.
