Hyssop Blue Hyssop Hyssopus officinalis
Blue Hyssop is a traditional border hedge for herb or knot gardens. Maybe clipped to maintain form, or allowed to bloom. Long-lasting blue flowers good for drying. The young leaves and shoots may flavor tornato soup and sauces, but use sparingly. It is used medicinally to treat coughs, colds and bronchitis.
