'Creeping' Coconut Thyme is a low growing plant, with shiny, evergreen leaves, purple flowers and a mild coconut scent. It is grown primarily as a creeper or as an ornamental border plant in the rock garden. It is related to the early wild thymes, which were introduced to England by the Romans, and used to give aromatic flavor to cheese and liqueurs. Good bee plant.
