Common Silver Thyme
Thymus vulgaris 'Argenteus'

Common Silver Thyme - In the period of chivalry, a lady often gave her knight a scarf that was embroidered with a bee over a sprig of thyme, as thyme was a symbol of courage and activity. Common Silver is a shrub-like thyme, with very striking grey and cream foliage. It has a strong thyme scent and flavor, which makes it excellent for cooking. Great antiseptic qualities, and used to treat lung ailments and gastrointestinal complaints.
