Mint
Crisped Scotch Mint
Mentha x gracillis 'crispa'

Crisped Scotch Mint has smooth, rounded, green leaves with a strong scent. Easily grown mint, which spreads rapidly. Mint was highly prized by the ancients, who strongly believed that it would prevent the coagulation of milk. Gerard quotes Pliny, saying, "It will not suffer milk to curdle in the stomach and therefore it is put in milk that is drunk, lest those that drink thereof should be strangled."
