Thyme-Creeping
Doone Valley Thyme
Thymus x citriodorus 'Aureus' var

'Creeping' Doone Valley is a low growing thyme, with dark green foliage, variegated with gold. Very striking accent plant in the rock garden or in the herb border, with lavender flowers. The variegation appears in cooler weather. Harvest just before they bloom and keep well trimmed. Requires good drainage. This thyme has a strong lemon scent and flavor and attracts bees to the garden. Thyme honey is considered a great delicacy.
