Sage Dwarf Sage Salvia officinalis compacta
Dwarf Sage - This small-leaved variety is a compact form of grey sage. "He that would live for aye must eat sage in May." One of the most highly-regarded of the medicinal herbs. It is used to treat typhoid, a strong infusion for skin problems and the dried leaves were smoked to relieve asthma. In the kitchen its strong flavor accompanies meats and it is a traditional ingredient in stuffing and sausages.
